Everyone else wants you to check out. We want you to wait.
Slowcart is the cart for things you’re not buying yet. Save what you want, and we’ll watch the price until it’s worth buying — then tell you. Share the list, and the people who buy you gifts get the same head start.

How it works
Add it once. Buy it when the price is right.
Save what you want.
Paste a link. We pull the title, the image and what it costs today, and it joins your list — one list, any store. If a page won’t give us a price, we say so instead of guessing.
We watch it.
We check every day and keep every reading, so you can see whether a price is genuinely low or just doing what it always does. And every price says where it came from and when we checked — a number without a timestamp is an assertion we can’t back.
We tell you when it’s worth acting.
A drop has to clear a real bar, and the bar scales with the price — a few dollars off a paperback stays quiet, a real fall on something expensive doesn’t. Or set a target price and we’ll wait for it. Then you get one plain email: the number, the store, how it compares. Never twice for the same price, never more than five in a day, and quiet hours hold alerts until morning.
Dropped $45.00 to $204.99 at Best Buy.
Sony WH-1000XM5 — the lowest since we started watching in May. You asked to hear about drops of 5% or more; this one is 18%.
Principles
The slow part is the point.
The name is the trade: you wait, you pay less. Our end of it is refusing every trick designed to make you hurry.
No urgency theatre.
No countdowns, no “only 2 left,” no red banners. If a sale genuinely ends at a known time, we’ll tell you when — that’s a fact, not a tactic.
Every price shows its work.
Store and checked-at time, everywhere a price appears. $204.99 means something because “Best Buy · checked 2 hours ago” is standing next to it.
A rise is information, not an alarm.
When a price goes up, we report it — a word and an arrow, no red, no drama.
When we can’t check, we say so.
Stores block, pages change, links rot. You’ll see it plainly — never a stale price shown confidently, which is the worst thing a product like this can do.
And we watch politely: an honest user agent, robots.txt respected, no headless browser dressed up as a person. A store that tells us no shows up as “not watched” — we don’t sneak.
Save it. We’ll watch the price.
Add the thing you’ve been circling. When the price is worth acting on, you’ll hear about it — once.
